Undergraduate Scholarship Qualifications

To apply for an undergraduate scholarship from the Scottish Rite Foundation of Washington you must be able to substantiate the qualifications in the following statement.

I am:

a U.S. Citizen.
a Washington State Resident.
entering Third year (Junior), Fourth year (Senior) or (if required for degree) Fifth year undergraduate.
attending an accredited 4 year college or university in the State of Washington as a full time student for the full academic year. Please Note: Distance Learning and/or on-line classes will not be considered when determining your full time status.
maintaining a college level GPA of at least 3.0.

By checking the boxes above, you comfirm that you that you meet the qualifications and will verify them during a personal interview with a Director of the Foundation.

Application Deadline

The deadline for submitting your completed application March 31st. Applications for the 2011-2012 year will be accepted starting
November 1, 2011.  Please Note: An interview with the Director is held before you receive the application.  You may schedule your interview during your winter break and then accumulate the materials to be turned in no later than March 31. The deadline for 2011-2012 applications is March 31, 2011.  Applicants will be notified regarding their acceptance by the first of June.
